Dr. Diana Shekoury discovered her passion for optometry in high school after becoming fascinated by the anatomy of the eye. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (Go Vols!) and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.
Her clinical interests include ocular disease management and surgical co-management. Dr. Shekoury values patient education and strives to ensure every patient leaves feeling informed and confident about their eye health.
Born in Stockholm, Sweden and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Dr. Shekoury recently moved to the area to explore a new city while staying close to family. Outside of work, she enjoys the gym, soccer, and exploring the city with friends. She’s a coffee lover, a fan of the Harry Potter series, and believes sunglasses and a healthy diet are key to lifelong eye health.
