Dr. Pigg is a residency-trained optometrist specializing in primary eye care and the diagnosis and management of ocular disease. He completed his undergraduate studies at Oklahoma State University and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Midwestern University’s Chicago College of Optometry. He then went on to complete a residency in ocular disease at the Sergeant Ernest I. “Boots” Thomas VA Medical Center in Tallahassee, Florida.
His clinical interests include glaucoma, diabetic eye care, and dry eye disease. Dr. Pigg is known for his patient-centered approach, strong clinical acumen, and commitment to evidence-based care. He places a high value on patient education and ensuring individuals feel confident in their treatment plans.
Dr. Pigg has also presented at national and regional meetings, including the American Academy of Optometry, SECO, and the Heart of America Eye Care Congress.
He will be working closely with our clinical and surgical teams to provide comprehensive, coordinated care for our patients.
